Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

network-manager doesn't add the line "auto eth0" (eth0 in my case) to the /etc/network/interfaces when using static IP address

/etc/network/interfaces

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

iface eth0 inet static
address 10.254.15.12
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 10.254.15.1

This looks like a duplicate of bug 185854 which has already been fixed, is this still a problem for you?
