I'll fix this in the next version, which will also contain the new translations.

I'll release the version tomorrow.

Simple patch to guard against spaces in the .inf file path and to reload the ndiswrapper module in case it was already loaded.

This is already fixed in the development tree.
I just had no time to release the new version yet.
I hope I can release it Sunday.

Is a fix in ndiswrapper still necessary?

Yes. Run:
  sudo mkdir '/etc/ndiswrapper/test driver'
  sudo ndiswrapper -l
and you'll get:
ls: /etc/ndiswrapper/test: No such file or directory
ls: driver: No such file or directory
  test driver : invalid driver!

I recommend to change whitespace to _ if you call ndiswrapper -i to install a driver.
This would mean that 'test driver' would be 'test_driver'.

This is most likely not going to get fixed, as upstream is (apparently) not active anymore.
