Bug Description
Use nautilus to do the following:
* Create file "test"
* Make link to file "test" in a separate folder "a"
* Rename link to "test"
* Copy the original file "test" into folder "a"
* Confirm you want to replace the file
Result:
* The original file is truncated and the link remains the same
Expected behavior:
* The link is replaced with a copy of the original file

Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please indicate which version of Ubuntu you are currently using. After explicitly following your instructions I was unable to recreate your bug on Ubuntu 8.10 or 8.04.1. The expected behavior you described was the result I obtained. Perhaps you could elaborate further or post a video screencast of the behavior. Thanks in advance.
