Bug Description

Binary package hint: mythbuntu-control-centre

Mythbuntu 7.10 LiveCD fresh install

Bug: After a fresh install, go into Artwork & Login Behavior and "uncheck" the automatic login
and press Apply. You will get a message stating "No changes detected" and nothing is done.
Quit and restart MCC, and the user will still be automatically logged in.

I could not find a fix for this.

Interesting bug. The automatic login conversion options were only tested on
standard Gutsy installs, not Mythbuntu.

Temporarily you can modify /etc/gdm/gdm-cdd.conf to turn on and off
automatic login and rm ~/.config/autostart/mythtv.desktop to turn off
automatically starting the frontend.

We'll see what we can investigate here.

Fix Released.

It will show in the weekly builds of Mythbuntu within the next week.

I am unsure how long it will take to get a fix released into Ubuntu's universe repo, but I will add a comment for a direct linky to the necessary deb if you don't want to use the weeklybuilds.

This bug is still present in the current Mythbuntu Hardy Release?

You deselect the Automatic login option, click apply - but says 'Nothing to apply'???
