Bug Description

Binary package hint: mountall

After this morning's upgrade, my machine did not boot anymore, stopping after cryptdisk-early ( which showed [ OK ] ) without any messages.

After a thorough remote examination, cjwatson (star!) determined that mountall was being confused by LVM fstab entries of the form:

/dev/VolumeGroup/LogicalVolume

Once all those entries had been changed into the form:

/dev/mapper/VolumeGroup-LogicalVolume

the boot did not get stuck anymore, and all was well with the world. ;-)
