Lack of font viewer in post gnome 2.23

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-desktop-environment

We don't currently have a font viewer for intrepid so I was wondering if the old gnome-font-viewer could be repackaged here? I'm not sure if an alternative exists at the moment.

Yeah, I saw a few of them but they didn't really address the problem of a lack of a viewer. Well, thanks anyway..

I can't really find duplicates. There's this: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/216875 but it's not really relevant here...

Thats definitely another bug, I'm reopening this bug until someone has found a valid duplicate or when it comes clear that a font-vieuwer is not needed as default.

There's no gnome-font-viewer in GNOME 2.23 that was deprecated, closing this report. Also a Bug Tracking System is not the right place to discuss such things you can mail the ubuntu desktop mailing list for example to discuss changing the defaults, thanks i nadvance.
