That happen to me also and I found that if you press enter two or three times it says LTSP client complete or something like that.
I also found after I boot into the client and I'm at the log on screen I get "This workstation isn't authorized to connect to server" Not sure how to go about authorizing it. I am also running a win2003 DHCP server, so I dont know if that matters.

I forgot....I didnt post that "This workstation isn't authorized to connect to server" as a bug because I dont know as if it would be one. I looks to me as if its a control that would need to be set up.

to get rid of that message, run sudo ltsp-update-sshkeys and sudo ltsp-update-image (in this order) it should be gone then

ltsp (5.0.35) gutsy; urgency=low

  * change debconf frontend to noninteractive in the Ubuntu/095-update-image plugin
    fixes LP: #144296
  * fix sed quoting in ltsp-update-image so we dont end up with $PORT but the
actual portnumber in the pxe config.

Running 8.04 AMD64bit with i386 environment - client boots to login screen but gets "This workstation isn't authorized to connect to server" message - the solution of running ltsp-update-image fails due to lack of /opt/ltsp/amd64/ folder.

it would have been nice to open a new bug instead of commenting on a closed one (even though yours is no bug :) ), use the -a option to ltsp-update-image like:

sudo ltsp-update-image -a i386

(as documented in the help output (-h option) of ltsp-update-image

Thanks for that - found no man page for ltsp-update-image - forgot to look for a --help/-h - doh!

As you say - not a bug - so didn't start new report - hopefully this will show up in Google for those who get the same error. (will also post on forums)
