alps touchpad sony vaio recognized, but not working

Bug Description

Hi there,

My Alps touchpad is recognized for the first time on a freshly installed maverick. Always before it was recognized as imps/2. But now it's not working any longer.

[ 15.122] (II) Synaptics touchpad driver version 1.2.2
[ 21.081] AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint no synaptics event device found
[ 21.081] (**) Option "Device" "/dev/input/mouse3"
[ 21.182] Query no Synaptics: 6003C8
[ 21.182] (--) AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint: no supported touchpad found
