Same here on Intrepid x64.
Hibernates while I'm typing!

I've been fiddling around with gconf-editor and /apps/gnome-power-manager/timeout/sleep_computer_ac and /apps/gnome-power-manager/timeout/sleep_computer_battery I noticed that the laptop seems to be going to sleep with the approximate time of those variables.
It is as if it doest count time from IDLE but uptime.

Attaching the log of gnome-power-bugreport.sh &> gpm.log

Yes, that's my impression too.

But only if i uncheck "activate screensaver when idle" in screensaver settings.
If I activate the screensaver, it will prevent the computer from hibernating as long as mouse or keyobard actions will keep the screensaver from coming into action.

Seems like the power manager will 'listen' to the screensaver only, but not mouse or keyboard.

I've changed my sleep tie to suspend instead of hibernation so I can resume faster.

It happes EVERY time after 30 mins since a fresh boot

Thanks for checking. I think we can list this as an "unknown fix" for now, but if it comes back use:
"ubuntu-bug gnome-power-manager"
to have apport put together the report (since upstream would want to see bugs with DeviceKit and GPM > 2.27).

Changed in gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
Changed in linux (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
