Bug Description
Resume from suspend fails and triggers a normal boot in 2.6.27-1. The suspend works and causes spin down and blinking suspend light. This is a regression from 2.6.26-5 and resume works perfectly with this kernel.
Ubuntu 8.10 alpha4
2.6.27-1-generic x86_64

I observed the same behaviour on my HP Compaq 8510p.
Suspsending works as usual but when resuming, the laptop poweroff completely and I have to boot it again.
I'm running 2.6.27-1-generic on amd64.
Attached is the syslog entries that were written during the suspend test I did on 2.6.27-1.
