Bug Description

Together with updating the linux-wlan-ng package to 0.2.9 (bug #192772) we should also update the corresponding kernel code for the p80211 and prism2_usb modules. The 0.2.9 version corresponds to svn revision 1861 from svn://svn.shaftnet.org/linux-wlan-ng/trunk

I would like to see this update as well. It would synchronise our prism2 support with the latest release upstream which has been stable and working well for a while now.

As advised by rtg on IRC, here's a patch for the update of the module source. I have updated the BOM to be more complete, the old one was not very helpful so I had to guess what BenC did last time. I kept BenC's stripped down makefiles.

It seems like BenC, when copying from hardy to intrepid, also made a little CONFIG_NET_NS check in p80211netdev.c to make it compile on 2.6.26, unfortunately without documenting it anywhere.

Pavel Roskin on the upstream ML made a more elegant version of the above check, which I have included in this new version of the patch.
