Bug Description

The i915 drm driver in 2.6.24-12 has a bug that makes it fail to hibernate with my i855 graphics card.

I booted the machine with no_console_suspend and got a kernel oops. I'll attach pictures of it.

Hi Soren,

This was resolved with https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/207496 correct?

Yep, that's the workaround we came up with. Sorry I forgot to update this bug accordingly.

Launchpad Janitor (janitor) wrote : Kernel team bugs

Per a decision made by the Ubuntu Kernel Team, bugs will longer be assigned to the ubuntu-kernel-team in Launchpad as part of the bug triage process. The ubuntu-kernel-team is being unassigned from this bug report. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies for more information. Thanks.
