Partial display corruption when booting intrepid amd64 dvd iso in kvm

Bug Description

Hi,

When booting the amd64 dvd iso in kvm (on amd64), I get a display corruption in the top panel at various places; opening the GNOME menus fixes the corruptions in these spots. The corruption doesn't happen in the installed OS.

can you confirm that you were using the final release of Intrepid when this bug occured; if not is it still present in final?

I'm familiar with the corruption you're talking about in Intrepid.

I have not seen this problem at all in Jaunty as a host... Have you? I believe that this bug has been fixed in the upstream package. Can you confirm?
