Bug Description

Sorry, it's a bit in french, but you'll understand the essential :

$ sudo apt-get install kipi-plugins
Lecture des listes de paquets... Fait
Construction de l'arbre des dépendances
Lecture des informations d'état... Fait
Les paquets supplémentaires suivants seront installés :
  dolphin kdebase-bin kdebase-data kfind konqueror konqueror-nsplugins
  libkonq5 libkonq5-templates libksane0 libqimageblitz4 libqt4-opengl
Paquets suggérés :
  gallery kmail vorbis-tools konq-plugins

kipi-plugins (digikam plugins) directly depends (not only recommended or suggested) on dolphin and konqueror ! Under gnome, I don't want dolphin and konqueror to be installed.
Moreover, I don't really understand why kmail and vorbis-tools are suggested.

Yes, this might be a bit KDE-ish and not friendly to GNOME users.

I think dolphin might not be needed at all, while any web-browser could work instead of konqueror (and each user have at least one). Maybe just downgrading them to Suggest would be fine for now. Will talk with Debian how this should be changed in future.

kipi-plugins needs to depend on konqueror, as it needs KHTML for GPSSync kipi plugin. See upstream bug for details:

Oh, in Karmic Konqueror no longer depends on dolphin. We must have picked that up in the merge from Debian. Nevermind.

Actually, it may be that we have enough of khtml already in kdelibs and that konqueror package is really not needed.
Can one of gnome users remove konqueror package and then try that GPSSync plugin still works for him?
