Bug Description
If something cannot be accomplished with your current rights but may be accomplished through sudo, you should never see a dialog that says OK. basically, such a dialog is only saying "please jump through hoops to do what you want.... OK". Everyone knows this is true. e.g., if user B mounts something and it isn't busy, user A cannot unmount it. If user A has sudo power, user A has to jump through hoops to use it. What should happen is user A should be notified that user B mounted the medium *but* at the very same time offer you a way to elevate your rights to do what needs to be done (right on the spot).
This doesn't just apply to mounts, mounting is the famous example. It is just an idea that nothing is OK *if* you have the right to sudo. So, to sum it up is simple. If you have the right to sudo nothing is OK unless even sudo cannot accomplish it. Any OK dialog should have a way to go sudo immediately because OK may make the user jump through hoops when in actuality nothing is OK.
Original report is in regards to Kubuntu 7.10.
