Bug Description

When using KFind, I click on browse next to the "Look In" box. Via this window I select Storage Media -> EXTHD which is a USB HD mounted at /media/sda1.

The select file window does not return "media:/sda1" but just "/sda1" so KFind can't find the location in the system unless I manually type in the file location.

I can confirm this on current dapper.

Tested on Feisty and Gutsy: the media:/ in the file picker has been changed to /media/ so it appears that the bug has been fixed. However, try something in remote:/ (ignoring the fact, it's a silly thing to do) which turns remote:/localserver into /localserver, and so the bug is still present.

I hope you guys noticed that media:/ is not available in KDE 4 and thus most likely just wastes space in the KDE bug tracker.
