Bug Description

Binary package hint: imgseek

Update:
Please sync imgseek 0.8.6-3 from Debian unstable, it's a package release that uses python-support instead of python-central and fixes the python backwards and future compatibility.

Original message:
Hello !

When I try to install miro on jaunty I have the message (in frensh) :
imgseek: Dépend: python (< 2.6) mais 2.6.1-0ubuntu3 devra être installé

Thanks in advance to fix it ;-)

A simple rebuild will make it work with python2.6

I'm trying to build it with "XS-Python-Version: all" to include python 2.5 support but for some reason it adds python2.6 in the depends - here's the changelog: http://paste.ubuntu.com/132335/

The additional python2.6 is probably because some python script uses it as interpreter instead of the unversioned one.
Check the files in the deb to see which one is responsible for it (that's the most common case for additional python2.x dependecies).

I'm currently trying to update the package for debian using
python-support, I'll request a sync as soon as I manage to get it
sponsored by POX/debian-python :)
If it's too urgent, please go ahead and patch it!
