package ifupdown-scripts-zg2 (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Looks like 0.3.4 was supposed to make this change but didnt

Your debdiff only contains the changelog entry. Is it normal? Please, as soon as you answered my question or updated your debdiff, put back the status to New.

hi fabrice. dpkg-source was ignoring the deletion since the debian directory is in the original source tarball, i'm guessing this is why the bug wasnt fixed in debian as the changlelog says. the attached debdiff removes the entry from debian/ifupdown-scripts-zg2.dirs instead. it would seem a good idea to move the debian packaging out of the orig tarball in debian though

I had to change the maintainer in debian/control, as it wasn't updated.
Also, please report the patch to Debian, so that the package get fixed there also, and if you think it has to be fixed in Karmic, please follow the SRU process.

FIX:
Applied in Lucid in version 0.3.4ubuntu1
removed /var/lib/ifupdown-scripts-zg2 from debian/ifupdown-scripts-zg2.dirs, this is essesntially what was attempted in 0.3-4 but debian/ifupdown-scripts-zg2.dirs cannot be deleted as it is in the original tarball.

REGRESSION:
The package is currently unusable and the patch affects only files specific to this package, regression potential should be minimal
