Bug Description

I get the error "Can't play a text file without video." on opening an mkv file with totem. Using the Karmic alpha5 release.

The same thing happens on lucid beta. No window offering to install missing codecs.

Same thing happens in lucid rc1 in Totem, Banshee and Rhythmbox with proper "gstreamer-bad|ugly" codecs installed. Trying to play .m4a audio files. They play just fine in VLC.
