This is what I have in my Intrepid box:

$ xprop -root|grep XKB
_XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "evdev", "pc105", "es", "", "lv3:ralt_switch"
_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "evdev", "pc105", "es", "", "lv3:ralt_switch,grp:alts_toggle"

This is what I have in a Hardy box:

$ xprop -root | grep XKB
