Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

enabling DIM on AC immediately dims my screen even if using it.
I think its a regression from bug 137598

Hey bug - this is upstream-able, but they have been doing a bunch of work since 2.27.2. The new 2.27.3 should be out very soon (a few days), maybe we should test it first and if it exists before sending it upstream (unless you can build with git master and try it out before 2.27.3 comes out). I'm marking this as "incomplete" so I'll remember to check up with this after the new release. By the way, thanks for using apport - you're the first person to use it since we added the output of gnome-power-bugreport as a default file attachment which is going to be useful in the future..

@Scott no need to thank me. *all* my bugs have been submitted with apport for the last two cycles.
I guess just dont see enough of my bug _work_ eheh
