Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimp

I got this error several times after selecting an area of an image to crop and clicking the image menu. This happened three times, and I was able to crop on the 4th try. I do not know more than that, but over 30mb report files, I hope there is something useful in there. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

ttf-dejavu: installed version None, latest version: 2.28-1
gimp-data: installed version 2.6.5-1ubuntu2, latest version: 2.6.5-1ubuntu3
libgimp2.0: installed version 2.6.5-1ubuntu2, latest version: 2.6.5-1ubuntu3
libavutil49: installed version None, latest version: 3:0.svn20090204-2ubuntu1
libgegl-0.0-0: installed version 0.0.22-0ubuntu2, latest version: 0.0.22-0ubuntu3
libavcodec52: installed version None, latest version: 3:0.svn20090204-2ubuntu1
gimp: installed version 2.6.5-1ubuntu2, latest version: 2.6.5-1ubuntu3

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!
