Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimmie

Gimmie crashes everytime on startup on Gutsy (as it does on any other distro running gnome 2.19) with the following output:

Gimmie Version: 0.2.7

TypeError: <lambda>() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given)

This issue is beeing tracked here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458048 Even patch has already been written and confirmed to work. (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458048#c1) Could you, mighty MOTUs, please, please apply this patch to the ubuntu gutsy gimmie package? Not having this patch included renders gimmie totally unusable (since it won't start) and gives about five duplicate bug reports per day to the gimmie bugzilla... (and this number is likely to increase with widespread adoption of Gutsy...)

It would be great if you could apply this patch to the ubuntu package directly, because right now it seems to take a long time since the fix is actually commited upstream...

I have installed the new package but i still get
TypeError: <lambda>() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given) with Version 0.2.7.
With the SVN version it doesn't occur.

I got it when i clicked on Applications, right clicked on Firefox and marked as favorite. Perhaps someone can confirm this?
