Bug Description

Binary package hint: flightgear

All of the changes from the current Ubuntu package 0.9.10-2ubuntu2 has been implemented in debian 1.0.0-1 package. So syncing this package will not destroy any Ubuntu changes. 1.0.0 also comes with a *huge* number of improvements and bug fixes from upstream.

Upstream changelog, although it does not include the changelog for 1.0.0, oddly enough, it may be worth having a look at: http://www.flightgear.org/version.html

Note: First time I file a sync request so I expect some information to be missing.

OK, but next time be careful when you confirm a bug.

Cesare: I must disagree with you, I'm probably wrong but I still must :P. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/Merging states that "If all the Ubuntu changes can be dropped, you need to file a sync bug", as I mentioned in the bug description all Ubuntu changes have been implemented in Debian, and thus I think they can be drop. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The debdiff of the two packages is attached.

Now, can you please explain on what ground you say "all Ubuntu changes have been implemented in Debian"?

I checked the difference between the two .patch files and found no changes in Ubuntu that wasn't in Debian. But I see your point and well since this is the first time for me....
