Fresh hardy install, don't remember which beta it was. The date of my post might give a hint.

What I might need to mention is, that I am using the home dir from gutsy, which should not be a problem usually! Anyhow, maybe this information helps you.

Hardy Heron updated from Gutsy. I attached a screenshot. On SOME pages every text is missing - no letters at all, just background. I'll try to move firefox home folder, maybe it's causing some problems.

Magnes, please try with firefox -safe-mode in terminal see if you can reproduce this issue. What language pack are you using is it other than US or GB?

Language packs: En + Pl (example page that is affected: onet.pl)
In safe-mode: I'll try it soon and write in another comment (I have to close firefox to do so :) ).

If I chose from menu: Edit -> Preferences -> Content -> Fonts/Advanced -> uncheck Allow (...) then all text is displayed on all pages but the fonts are different from what they should be (Firefox uses only default fonts - serif, sans serif etc.).

In safe-mode: the same problem.
In Tools/Error console I get: Failed to load XPCOM component: /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9/components/libpyloader.so and Failed to load XPCOM component: /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9/components/pyabout.so
