Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

After updating all powermanagement related functions are gone. gpm is running, but suspend/resume is no longer available from the logout menu, and Power History shows only "Processor"
I think this is related to the latest devicekit-power upgrade.

I'm having the same problem and I experimented with different packages. g-p-m 2.27.2 and 2.27.1-0ubuntu2 gave the same devicekit-power errors. Downgrading devicekit-power to this fixed it.

Fix a small memory leak on supply coldplugging

which includes the pm-powersave commit that was added as a patch works correctly as well, so I'm thinking the patch might be reliant on another change past 008. Note that neither of us saw the failures until rebooting after updating so the problem might not have hit alot of people yet. Attached is the changelog from the package I built because the fdo Devicekit-Power cgit page is in an odd state right now and not displaying the commits on master.
