Bug Description
Binary package hint: debootstrap
debootstrap does not support https transport although it probably could. When you attempt to debootstrap using a mirror served over https, debootstrap will fail complaining about the url being an unknown location. This is due to debootstrap specifically looking for "http://" in the url.

According to the Debian bug report this is fixed in version 1.0.24 which is included in Natty so I am marking this bug as Fix Released.
