Bug Description

I've requesting the removal of libdb1-compat, which is an oldlibs

Distributions to remove from: hardy, intrepid

Please remove both source and binaries

It should be removed because its an oldlibs, and has no rdepends, or any build-dependencies anymore

apt-cache rdepends and reverse-build-depends have no hits.

I'd rather not. I added this at the time not because anything in Debian depended on it (indeed, I made sure nothing ever did), but because I knew of commercial applications that needed the old libdb. "Nothing in Ubuntu" depends on it is a bad reason to remove it given that nothing ever did depend on it to start with.

Marking invalid as per cjwatson's suggestion as some old commerical software still needs db1-compat.

Changed in db1-compat:
status: New → Invalid
