Bug Description

Binary package hint: cvsps

I've the Debian cvsps maintainer, but I am having trouble getting changes into my own package (I'm neither a DM nor a DD). This debdiff adds an additional patch which properly handles a bug in the socket handling code on amd64.

I intentionally left the Maintainer field alone - its my package in debian, and I would like to recieve bug reports for it directly from Ubuntu. Can you please undo the DebianMaintainerField change?

I'm sorry but I can't, all packages in the repo with an Ubuntu revision number must match the DebianMaintainerField specification (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebianMaintainerField).
Even dpkg-buildpackage has been patched so that it aborts if the spec is not respected.

You can easily see if there are open Ubuntu bugs by going to your PTS page: you will see in the lower right corner an Ubuntu box, the third row will report the number of open bugs in our bug tracker. Clicking on it will open the relative summary page.

Since you are already registered in Launchpad, an even better alternative for you would be to subscribe to that package so that you will receive all bugmail relative to it.
To do that, just go to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cvsps/+subscribe and subscribe.
If you want to disable it, just go to that page and unsubscribe.
