I had just updated my Lucid laptop when Update manager reported a problem. I tried to use Synaptic, it started but closed immediately. A little later I tried to use Computer Janitor and this bug report was generated.

I went the same route from Karmic to Lucid.
Synaptic works fine for me, but Janitor crashes every time I start it.
Computer is a Dell Latitude 131L (AMD machine) running 64bit Lucid. Daily updates (or more often if I feel like it ;-) )
cheers
