Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Often when scrolling web pages, bits of a page get "left behind". Flicking through pages in Compiz Config Settings Manager shows bits of UI left over all over the place. When you cause the Widgets to expose, by hovering the mouse over them, the screen correctly updates. Moving the window shows everything correctly.
Does not affect Metacity, either with or without compositing.
If I had to guess, I'd say this might be a bug in how Compiz deals with the XDamage events. Given that Metacity manages fine, I'd think the events are sane and it's just Compiz's problem.
