Bug Description
Binary package hint: caspar
Tried to boot the Alpha 5 Live-CD (desktop, i386) in safe graphics mode, but it failed (have to boot using it or my defective GPU freezes the system).
Manually adding "xforcevesa" to the kernel line didn't work either.
I checked the ISO's hash and ran the CD check - no errors were found.
Alpha 6: same problem. Maybe connected to this bug: https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ xserver- xorg-video- nv/+bug/ 385658
