Bug Description

Binary package hint: bug-buddy

bug-buddy currently does not build from source on maverick [0]. This appears to be due to the BUG_BUDDY_EDS_CFLAGS variable not substituting the correct compiler include flags, even though executing 'pkg-config --cflags "libebook-1.2 >= 1.3.0"' (as should be being performed in the build) does indeed seem to provide the necessary flags.

The source is a direct sync from Debian the bug should ideally be fixed there since they also have the same evolution version

Seems the build on debian is successfully, actually I don't know where is the problem, maybe Sebastian Dröge can give us some recommendations.

it was successful when it built but it has been built using evolution 2.28 not the current one, it would probably fail the same way on a retry

No, I was right:

FTBFS because libebook1.2-dev doesn't depend on libdbus-glib-1-dev like it does on Debian

This bug was fixed in the package evolution-data-server - 2.30.2-0ubuntu3

---------------
evolution-data-server (2.30.2-0ubuntu3) maverick; urgency=low

  * debian/control:
    libebook1.2-dev to depend on libdbus-glib-1-dev (LP: #590094)
  * Fix bzr add to include the previous patch
