Connecting Bluetooth mouse or keyboard causes system freeze

Binary package hint: bluez-gnome

When I try to connect my Bluetooth mouse or vx9100 cell phone, the system will freeze entirely. The caps and scroll lock lights start flashing on my keyboard, and I have to press the power button to do a hard reset.

I have the same system freeze when trying to pair my LG vx9100. A hard reboot is required, ssh'ing in to do a clean reboot fails. I have no other bluetooth devices to torture my computer.

I get the same results on my laptop that dual boots Ubuntu/openSuse11 Gnome. OpenSuse11 works fine which makes me think this is an Ubuntu bug.

Same problem here, although the crash doesn't happen every time. If it does happen, it's just a moment after pairing with my phone (Samsung z500). The notification for the pairing just starts disappearing when the system locks up. The device is my HP Pavilion tx2020eo, here are the details:

The same problem is with both of my devices HP Ipaq 2210 and Dell Axim x51v. The notification for the pairing just starts disappearing when the system freeze.
