Hello,
As Christian-mg : I'm currently having troubles connecting with Amsn. At the beginning, I detect some network traffic during launch but it just stay at the progress bar stage , it goes right goes left => infinite.
It works fine with emesene and pidgin.
I've just upgraded to Jaunty from Ibex. Before, no problems ...

Freely.

I confirm this bug in Ubuntu 9.04 Beta and aMSN 0.97.2

As the previous comments noted, aMSN seems to be "Signing in" forever with no feedback when launched from the Gnome-Terminal. I just upgraded to 9.04 today.

I sniffed this connection and you can see that amsn communicate with the msn server.

Este problema ya fue corregido en la actualización del 3 de abril. Ya no
deberías de tener problemas.

This problem was fixed on the april 3 update. You shouldn't have any more

There are some programs that dont appear for some strange reason, I have had
some problems using the add/remove programs section where some programs
would show and others that were usually there suddenly werent. To get around
this I closed add/remove and then restarted it, looked for the program again
and it suddenly appeared. Some strange issues with this final release of
jaunty, never had this trouble with any of the alphas, beta or rc.
