Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok-xine

I'm using the alsa driver with xine and when playing low sample rate (11025
kHz and 22050 kHz) mp3's (the format does not matter) in Amarok, I hear an annoying
stuttering throughout the entire file. There is no problem when using other xine-based players (totem for example)

Glitches are plain with this file:

The same bug on the xine bugzilla:

The bug occurs on Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10 with Amarok 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 (I don't know how about the previous versions).
