Bug Description

Google has some nice fonts available under an open font license: http://code.google.com/webfonts

It would be nice to have these in the archive. (The droid font is already available as ttf-droid)

here are all the fonts in the google web font thing http://code.google.com/p/googlefontdirectory/source/browse/
some are apache, some are OFL
looks like there are some issues on some of the OFL.txt files!
http://code.google.com/p/googlefontdirectory/source/browse/felltypes/OFL.txt
they just dropped the license text in without filling in the blanks

One thing to decide here: should we pull fonts from the upstream projects (when they exist) or from the Google font directory (which doesn't have proper "release packages"[1]? Unfortunately upstream projects aren't linked directly from the directory...

At least Inconsolata and the Greek (gfs) & Khmer (khmeros) fonts are already in the archive too, and there might be others.

The "template" OFL license text seems to have been added to some but not all directories in hg by Raph Levien. In some cases, there is also another license inside the font files, which makes things really confusing... :-/
