Bug Description

Hi ,

In Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha we noticed that the kernel enables the vmwgfx driver from the staging tree.
At this time we ( VMware) feel that the driver is not stable enough to use and would prefer users to get the drivers
from our VMware-Tools package.

Once we feel that the vmwgfx driver in mainline is mature enough and it is promoted from stable into regular tree we would
love distributions to ship it , however in the mean time we would like you to disable it in your kernels.

Thanks
VMware QA Team

Re-assigning this to the "linux" package so that it is noticed by the right people.
