Bug Description

Binary package hint: wireless-crda

Please consider wireless-crda for inclusion into Ubuntu main. Note this package is locally created and maintained.

The Main Inclusion Report can be found at:
 * https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MainInclusionReportWirelessCrda

This package is required to confirm wireless regulatory power and channel settings (when the CONFIG_WIRELESS_OLD_REGULATORY=n feature is set in the kernel).

How do I get wireless-crda to stay in main? Should it be added to one of the common seeds, or perhaps be added as one of the linux-image install dependencies?

Tim, in all cases please proceed to uploading to Ubuntu as soon as the package is ready; I've requested Colin's advice for this particular package which seems required on upgrades.

                  image package to recommend it?

I'm fine with the kernel package recommending this new package so that people get it on upgrades; I have no strong feeling of which package should pull it.
