kde 4.0.4 got conflicts with Qt 4.4

Bug Description

I tested if Qt was problem of the problems kde 4.0.4 got and it probably is. Because kde 4.0.4 depends on Qt 4.3 and not 4.4 ( If you upgrade kde4 automatical Qt is upgraded )

And because of the upgrade of Qt 4.3 there problems i reported are there because conflict between kde4.0.4 and qt 4.4. I tested it wit removing kde 4.0.4 but the Qt 4.4 where left so after that i installed kde 4.0.3 and i saw same problems as with kde 4.0.4

So i could be solved by not upgrading Qt 4.3

With this release, the KDE community continues to support the KDE 4.0 series that has been released for brave users earlier this year. KDE 4.1, to be released this summer (in the northern-hemisphere) will bring new features and applications. KDE 4.1 is based on the recently released Qt 4.4 while KDE 4.0.4 is still based on Qt 4.3 as is the case with the whole KDE 4.0 series. So put on your update shoes and install 4.0.4 today.

You see Qt 4.3 should not be upgraded no wonder there are so many problems with kde 4.0.4 please fix this

On my machine despite updating kde 4.0.3 to kde 4.0.4 and qt 4.3 to qt4.4 nothing seems broken, however any application I start says it is using kde 4.0.3 instead of kde 4.0.4. The update manager claims kde 4.0.4 is installed.

The kde 4.0.4 release was tagged, but the version number was not updated by accident. This was corrected, but the kubuntu build had already started, so they missed this fix. You are running 4.0.4, but without the version number being bumped.

The bugs seem to be only really related to konqueror with text boxes and other input boxes. They do not seem to effect my computer very much, and I find it hard to reproduce, so you may not be affected as badly as others. (see screenshot attached to bug number #228710, which this has been marked a duplicate of)

Do not worry about the version number in the applications, just what the update manager says, for now.
