Wiki login not persistent with Konqueror

Bug Description

When I try to login to w.u.c to edit a page using Konqueror (Hardy, KDE3) the login succeeds via the Launchpad login service, but then if I go to another page, it wants me to login again. It doesn't matter if I put the URL directly or navigate by clicking on a link, at the next page, I'm not logged it.

I can confirm this bug, same problem with Konqueror/KDE4 and Intrepid.

This issue is hindering Kubuntu Development in a very unacceptable way. Currently I can't write Main Inclusion Reports in the Wiki, making it impossible to get new features in or resuscitate features which moved to another library in KDE 4.

The issue causing change (OpenID apparently) should be reverted until it is working with our default browsers.

I've reported this issue to the Ubuntu Sysadmins, who are responsible for maintaining the wiki. I'll close the bug here, it's not something the Ubuntu Website team can do anything about.

Where are such issues tracked then?

In the request tracker used by the Ubuntu sysadmins. I can't give you
a link yet because the request hasn't been triaged. However it will
appear here in due course: https://rt.ubuntu.com/

(you can get the password from the topic of the #canonical-sysadmin channel)

the same issue occurs with Opera 9.50. With Firefox 3.0 it seems to work

No we can't. It asks for a login, which does not appear to be our LP profiles.

From RT:

"I have updated MoinMoin to fix this problem. MoinMoin was incorrectly
setting the Max-Age attribute in the cookie. This was fixed upstream in
the 1.7 branch.

I have successfully tested session persistence with:

 * Opera 9.27
 * Arora 0.4
 * Konqueror 3.5
 * Firefox 3.x

Regards.
