Bug Description

Please include package fortunes-ubuntu-server. It is to be seeded by default on standard ubuntu server edition installs to provide useful tips to administrators.

Approved; couple of small suggestions:
LANGS= $(shell find ./po -name *.po -print | sed -e 's!./po/!!g' | cut -d . -f 1 )
might be nicer with:
LANGS:=$(patsubst po/%.po, %, $(wildcard po/*.po))

you can drop debian/dirs

              doesn't yield anything and pkgstriptranslations doesn't find any
              either
