can't install 10.04 release candidate on ASus k72F

Bug Description

can't install 10.04 release candidate on notebook Asus k72F TY011V.
 Install screen is frozen forever without any messages or crash.

I have resigned this to the correct package as this is not a bug with the manual but with Ubuntu its self. Assuming that you are doing a graphical biased install please look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs . This will provide the correct information for someone to help solve the bug. Thank you for taking the time to report the bug.

Hi,
I can't get any logs or trace, I have to remove the power socket and
the notebook battery for rebooting.

Sorry, I've tried this morning after rebooting my laptop, I can install ubuntu, no more frozen screen.
It looks like a glitch of the memory, cpu of my laptop.
