Searching Latviešu or any of the translated language names (like русский for Russian or français for French) will not find them.
Only searching for English names of languages will help you to find it.
Fixing that would attract more people so translations would be faster and better finished.

This is not a duplicate of bug 5417. The problem here is that Launchpad doesn't know each language's name for itself, and should.
