Bug Description

Kopete in KDE trunk and 4.2 needs libmsn[1] for MSN support (see http://mattr.info:8080/blog/2008/11/15/new-msn-plugin-for-kopete/), which isn't packaged by Ubuntu, yet.

Confirm that no MSN support is available in the kopete version that is available in KDE 4.2 beta 1. This goes for both the version in Jaunty development and the one for Intrepid (deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu intrepid main).

I think it is rather important to have this fixed before Juanty release as kopete is the standard IM in kubuntu and MSN is widely used.

Jaunty is unrelated to project-neon :P

Anyway, next kdenetwork build should come with msn support.
