Hi,

thanks for reporting this bug, I can confirm this problem.

The main problem is the way Vimeo uses to render their plugin controls. They are not included in flash, but instead they are rendered on top of the Flash plugin. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work that well yet, probably because the rendering works different with Wine in many ways.

As a workaround you can just right-click and disable "Embed into browser", and then refresh the page. When you do this the controls stay visible in the browser and you should see the video in a new window. Everything except fullscreen works well (instead of fullscreen you could just resize the separate plugin window).

I'm not yet sure if its possible to fix this problem because of the lots of differences between pipelight and the real flash rendering (the browser doesn't know in our case when the plugin is redrawed, and doesn't get any events), but we'll take a look at it.

Sebastian

I've had this happen as well, and usually it's sufficient to reload the page in order to get the controls to work. The only place I've had trouble so far is http://video.citytv.com (region-locked to Canada), where I need to use the Pipelight version of flash to satisfy their DRM requirements. Normally reloading once does the job, although on one occasion I had to reload the page twice before the controls responded.

This bug is beginning to affect more and more webpages -- Twitch.tv is failing to display controls at all due to the same issue as of July. I might be able to get one of our resources working on this if you're able to summarize the issue.
