Bug Description

notify-osd should log notification titles and bodies in ~/.cache/notify-osd.log which should be reset to empty on startup of notify-osd (i.e. on login by the user).

John, I'm using title to mean the top text that's in bold. Try apt-get
install libnotify-bin and then notify-send "this is a title" "and this
is the body" to see what I mean.

~/.dotfiles are sooo last century. It's a log, that get's cleared -- that's a cache file! It's spot is in ~/.cache/.. ! Best to get thir right from the start.

I think applications should be able to temporary disable logging for particular message - for security reasons!

How does pushing all notification in the events table of zeitgeist sound. We support DBUS. If possible we can also we could monitor or subscribe to all events happening in notify-osd. thus making notify-osd only focused on notification while zeitgeist does what it does best!

Seif, if you have separate proposals for how Notify OSD should behave, please report them separately. (And in more detail, too -- what on earth is "the events table of zeitgeist"?)
