Bug Description

When installing Mythbuntu 7.10, I used a password with an apostrophe as the 7th character for both the user account, Mythweb and MySQL password. When installation reached 83%, "Configuring mythtv..." the installation process hung. Using a different password succeeded as a workaround. Examining syslog revealed the following:

I had a problem when setting MSQL Password at installation; used //////.
Was unable get mythfilldatabase to work. got a password error... Tried to set a new MSQL password and problem persisted...

SOLUTION: Reinstalled MythBuntu 8.04 Alpha 2 w/o setting the MSQL Password.

This should be solved in the current mythbuntu daily disks (starting a few days after alpha 3). If anyone still has problems, please reopen this bug.
