Is your remote supported by LIRC or a kernel driver? Is there a lircd.conf?

Superm1, I saw somewhere your the lirc exert (I think laga said it) so you can have this one

I use original Nebula Digitv PCI card which uses One-for-All remote.
 The IR receiver plugs into a socket the mounted on the PCI card.
The same windows software is used as for above.

I have seen a lircd.conf for latest card and remote.
I may have to adapt the lircd.conf for the different button names on my remote.

For now i'm going to mark this bug Incomplete. If you end up getting a lircd.conf to attach to it, please do so and we can revisit it. If not, the bug will automatically expire on its own.

I am a newbie to launchpad and not a programmer.
I have a Nebula digitv PCI card.
I have found that the card is supported under Ubuntu Feisty Fawn.
I have got it working with Kaffeine/xine and get the UK DVB Freeview
channels (without the remote).
I have been working at getting my remote to work. Hence my trying to configure Mythbuntu and creating the bug report.
The IR receiver attaches via a cable to the digitv PCI card.
I have found that a patch is required to get the card supported see the following: http://marc.info/?l=linux-video&m=113735813926708&w=2

Two different remotes are mentioned in the write-up hence the need for the parameter. I have the earlier remote.
This is a far as I have got not being a programmer and therefore not created a lircd.conf

I hope this helps solve my bug

It's quite easy to add remote support as long as the actual remote driver is support in the kernel driver.
