Bug Description

We've been seeing filesystem corruption after a hard shutdown (pull the power cord) on our Crown Beach. More details to follow.

The problem is believed to be in the image, as it sometimes doesn’t mount the file system as ext3, so there is no journal. When the system is powered off, the journal doesn’t have any cleanup info, the filesystem is marked as dirty, and the system chokes. I have seen this on the ubuntu mailing list as well as the moblin mailing list.

Additional info needed:
1. it happened on ubuntu kernel or moblin kernel?
2. please do the test on recent images.

The issue got confirmed as Moblin Image Creator create the /dev/sda1 as ext2 and mount it as rw.
A fixing was checked in and current test showed this issue was gone.
